Hi friends! Welcome to Soft and Savage where my thoughts and stories run rampant. Here I’m going to share literature, music, art and other things I adore as well as my own writing and experiences. I took a long break from blogging and although Ive tried numerous times to go back, it never felt right until now. Hence, Im here again! I decided sharing some of my thoughts online is better than having them just lie comfortably on my journal pages.
The name Soft and Savage really encompasses everything I aspire this blog to be, as well as the person I try everyday to become. I believe that the best people are strong and soft at the same time. The world needs more gentleness and it is in us to be kind whenever we have the chance. But at the same time, no one should take anybody’s crap. Stand up for others, for the things you believe in, for what you think is right. Stay soft, stay loving, but don't hesitate to bite back when necessary.
Im really excited for this new endeavour Im taking! Although I'm still quite confused, I can only promise to be honest and raw. This time, I do not want to be held back by fear. Ive grown weary of sugarcoating my thoughts and dancing around more subtle words because Im scared of what others have to say. There will be no lies from here. However, there will be times where Im going to publish my writing, and I'll leave you to decide whether it's fiction or not. HA.
I will be publishing content every single day of February! Yup, it’s going to be quite busy at school and my org but I wanted to push my limits this time since I had a bit of rest the past year from sharing myself online. You can expect youtube videos, playlists, poems, my work, etcetera.
