The perfect to-do list


 It's easy to be caught up in responsibilities and be overwhelmed with the expectations placed upon our shoulders by others, even more so the ones we set for ourselves. Look up from your Starbucks planner, from that sticky note on your desk, or your google calendar for a moment. Here's a rather unconventional to-do list to remind you that there's so much more than what needs to be done. It would not take so much, but offers a lot in return. 



1. compliment a stranger

2. walk instead of getting that 3 minute ride. take the stairs instead of the elevator.

3. list down five things you love about your body- like the way your hands are capable of creating, or how you tuck your lips in when brainstorming ideas

4. compliment a friend about something not physical. tell them their strength makes you want to brave too.

5. dare to ask "how are you?" twice. Stay.

6. treat yourself to a pamper night. take out that face mask youve been saving as well as that overpriced candle. they arent meant to be stuck in a cabinet for later. you deserve it.

7. prepare yourself a meal. breakfast, a quick lunch, a 5 minute dinner. just prepare yourself something.

8. drink a liter of water more than you usually do.

9. take 10 minutes stare at yourself in the mirror naked. or with clothes. whatever makes you feel comfortable. no pressure and only think good thoughts.

10. hug a family, a lover, a friend for a few minutes without saying any thing. just be in the moment and feel your skin against each other. let your body warm theirs.

Do one today, another one for tomorrow and we shall go from there.
Dont tame your unruly soul.
